biography
Claudio Spada was born in Rome in December 1957.
He begun art school when he was very young.
After having obtained a diploma of “Art Master” he joined the “Accademia di Belle Arti” in  Rome, where he  graduated in painting in 1979.  From 1980 to 1987 he worked in a printworks of graphic arts, becoming a specialist in printing and etching.
 
At that time he regularly attended some of the greatest Italian artists : Gentilini, Fazzini, Monachesi and others

Ever since  his first exhibition that dates back to 1983, Claudio Spada shows his love for marine environments and his passion for the city of Rome, where he lives and works in.

Since there on he developed a passion for water painting which took him where he is now.

Some of his paintings are exposed in the Pinacoteca Comunale in Lipari.
Claudio Spada is a member of the “Cento Pittori Association in Via Margutta in Rome”.
